וַיֹּ֣אמֶר דָּוִד֮ אֶל־מִיכַל֒ לִפְנֵ֣י יְהוָ֗ה אֲשֶׁ֨ר בָּֽחַר־בִּ֤י מֵֽאָבִיךְ֙ וּמִכָּל־בֵּית֔וֹ לְצַוֺּ֨ת אֹתִ֥י נָגִ֛יד עַל־עַ֥ם יְהוָ֖ה עַל־יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל וְשִׂחַקְתִּ֖י לִפְנֵ֥י יְהוָֽה׃
האָט דוד געזאָגט צו מיכלען: פֿאַר גאָט װאָס האָט אױסדערװײלט מיך אײדער דײַן פֿאָטער און אײדער דײַן גאַנץ הױז, מיך צו באַפֿעלן פֿאַר אַ פֿירשט איבער דעם פֿאָלק פֿון גאָט, איבער ישׂראל – פֿאַר גאָט װעל איך מיך פֿרײלעך מאַכן.
